Hydrocortisone is used to treat many conditions, such as joint problems, severe allergic reactions, certain skin or eye conditions, certain problems with the blood/hormones/immune system, a certain bowel problem (ulcerative colitis), swelling, and worsening multiple sclerosis.Hydrocortisone is a glucocorticoid hormone. It decreases your body's natural defensive response and reduces symptoms such as redness and swelling.How to use Hydrocortisone OralTake this medication by mouth with food or milk, usually three or four times daily or as directed by your doctor. The dosage and length of treatment are based on your medical condition and response to therapy. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same times each day. It is important to continue taking this medication even if you feel well. Follow the dosing schedule carefully, and take this medication exactly as prescribed.Cholestyramine and colestipol may decrease the absorption of this medication. If you are taking either of these drugs, separate them from this medication by at least 4 hours.If you take this medication once daily, take it in the morning before 9. If you are taking this medication every other day or on some other schedule besides a daily one, it may help to mark your calendar with a reminder.If you have been taking this medication for a long time, do not suddenly stop taking it without consulting your doctor. Your condition may become worse when the drug is suddenly stopped. Your dose may need to be gradually decreased to reduce symptoms such as extreme tiredness, weakness, weight loss, or nausea. Imiquimod (i-mi-KWI-mod)Treats genital and rectal warts that are outside the body (external). Also treats certain types of a skin condition called actinic keratoses. Also treats a form of skin cancer called basal cell carcinoma.When This Medicine Should Not Be Used:You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to imiquimod.How to Use This Medicine:CreamYour doctor will tell you how much of this medicine to use and how often. Do not use more medicine or use it more often than your doctor tells you to.How often you apply this medicine will depend on the condition being treated. Wash your hands with soap and water before and after using this medicine. This medicine is for use on the skin only. Do not get it in your eyes, nose, or mouth. Do not use it on skin areas that have cuts or scrapes. If it does get on these areas, rinse it off right away. Do not let the medicine get in your eyes or nose, or on your lips. You should not use the medicine inside your vagina or anus. Do not apply the medicine to skin that has not yet healed after surgery or other skin treatments. Before applying the cream, wash the treatment area with mild soap and water. Wait for at least 10 minutes for the area to dry. It is best to apply the medicine right before you go to bed. When you awake in the morning, wash the treated skin area with mild soap and water. Use only one packet each time you apply this medicine. Throw away any unused medicine left in the packet after your application. Do not cover the treated area with a bandage, or tightly wrap the area so air cannot get to it. You may wear clothing over the treated skin area.If a dose is missed:If you miss a dose or forget to use your medicine, use it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, wait until then to use the medicine and skip the missed dose. Do not use extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.How to Store and Dispose of This Medicine:Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Do not freeze. Ask your pharmacist, doctor, or health caregiver about the best way to dispose of the used medicine container and any leftover medicine after you have finished your treatment. You will also need to throw away old medicine after the expiration date has passed. Keep all medicine away from children and never share your medicine with anyone.

It works in the airways by decreasing swelling and relaxing muscles. Controlling symptoms of breathing problems can decrease time lost from work or school.This product should not be used to treat sudden attacks of breathing trouble. Your doctor should prescribe a quick-relief inhaler (e.g., albuterol/salbutamol) for sudden shortness of breath/asthma attacks while you are using this medication. You should always have a quick-relief inhaler with you. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.In patients with asthma, this medication should not be used when breathing problems can be controlled with inhaled corticosteroids (e.g., flunisolide, fluticasone) and occasional use of quick-relief inhalers. (See also Warning section.)If you are regularly taking corticosteroids by mouth (e.g., prednisone), you should not stop using them or use this inhaled medication instead. Do not swallow the rinse water.To clean your inhaler, wipe the outside of the mouthpiece once a week with a dry tissue. Do not use water or other liquids. Do not take the inhaler apart.Do not stop using this medication or change your dose without consulting your doctor. Some conditions may become worse when the drug is suddenly stopped. Consult your doctor for details.If this medication stops working well, or if you need to use your quick-relief inhaler more often than usual (4 or more puffs daily or use of more than 1 inhaler every 8 weeks), seek immediate medical attention. It may be a sign of worsening asthma, which is a serious condition.It may take 1 week or longer before you get the full benefit of this drug. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Olanzapine is used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia (a mental illness that causes disturbed or unusual thinking, loss of interest in life, and strong or inappropriate emotions). It is also used to treat bipolar disorder (manic depressive disorder; a disease that causes episodes of depression, episodes of mania, and other abnormal moods). Olanzapine is in a class of medications called atypical antipsychotics. It works by changing the activity of certain natural substances in the brain.Olanzapine comes as a tablet and an orally disintegrating tablet (tablet that dissolves quickly in the mouth) to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day with or without food. Take olanzapine at around the same time every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take olanzapine exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Do not try to push the orally disintegrating tablet through the foil. Instead ,use dry hands to peel back the foil packaging. Immediately take out the tablet and place it in your mouth. The tablet will quickly dissolve and can be swallowed with or without liquid.Your doctor may start you on a low dose of olanzapine and gradually increase your dose.Olanzapine may help control your symptoms, but it will not cure your condition. It may take several weeks or longer before you feel the full benefit of olanzapine. Continue to take olanzapine even if you feel well. Do not stop taking olanzapine without talking to your doctor.
